Happy Good Friday! I can't wait to hear all about your yummy dinner at the embassy. It feels so weird getting ready for Easter knowing you won't be here to celebrate with us. I hate to admit that I really am not looking forward to church Sunday...I've even had thoughts of skipping...but I won't. I don't know how I'm going to get both kids to sit quietly for an hour by myself.
Luca had his TGIGF at church today. They made crosses and covered them with tissue paper. I'm not really sure what else they did, other than he had 2 muffins and a banana for snack. He is such a font of information, lol.
Stella and I had a fun morning while he was at church. She went with me to get my nails done, she was fascinated and did a really good job of staying put. Everyone thought she was so cute and kept talking to her and playing with her. After that we went to the little park off Coffman and she had the playset all to herself.
Your little monkey LOVES that slide. She went down 3 times in a row without any hesitation and begged for 'just one more time momma' when it was time to leave.
We didn't get any cleaning done, mom decided she was tired and we'd wait and do it tomorrow. It worked out though, the kids got a pretty good nap in. Luca's coughing so he needed the sleep and Stella had a big diaper blow out earlier so I'm sure it was good for her too.
I ate the malted milk ball eggs for the kids basket so now I have to go back out and get something for them....oops.
